Where are your farms located?

Our farms are located in Colombia. We offer full transparency and farm information upon request. Just write to jennifer@thosecoffeepeople.com with your inquiry to get full details!

 

What is your normal turn around time?

 

All orders are sold under our expected lead time of 10 business days for printing your bags, custom roasting your coffee, packaging the coffee, and 2-4 days in transit with Fedex. However average delivery times seen are less.

How do you calculate your MSRP prices?

Our manufacturer suggested retail prices are based on what we have seen in the market for comparable products. We think these prices are quite fair and if your school can sell them at a higher price you can feel free! Selling at a lower price is also possible if your fundraising goals allow based on what your community would consider to be a fair price.

Our production facility in Medellin, Colombia

What shipping methods are offered?

Free Fedex international door to door service

Can we ship the coffee directly from you to our customers?

International shipping can be quite expensive and therefore it is significantly less expensive to ship the whole order to your school or only location and do local distribution there. If you would li If you would like to upgrade the shipping and do ship directly to your customers it is possible. Please send your inquiry to jennifer@thosecoffeepoeple.com to check about your options.

How do I track my order?

With the fedex tracking number provided

Do I have any responsibilities during the importation process?

The person you indicate as the shipping contact is responsible to answer any correspondences from Fedex or Customs during the shipment process. Although there is no requirements they will be expected to complete for customs or import.  

What if I wanted to customize my order further?

How can I make changes to an order already in progress?

Please reach out to jennifer@thosecoffeepeople.com with your inquiry to see if we are still at a point where changes are possible.

What if I need to change the shipping information?

Please reach out to jennifer@thosecoffeepeople.com as soon as possible. Additional charges may be applied.

Refund and Return policy?

Unless the products are damaged beyond what is expected through international shipping, there are no refunds or returns. If the products have been significantly damaged please reach out to info@thosecoffeepople.com with photos and an explanation of the situation so we can solve it as quickly as possible.

What happens if my goods are inspected by customs?

Being an international shipment, your product will go though an importation process that involves a customs inspection. It is possible they will open and inspect a bag on occasion and this actions falls completely outside of our control. Occasionally it is expected to have a loss of 1-5 bags due to this process.

What payment methods are offered?

Credit card, zelle, ACH transfer. If you wish to pay by zelle or ACH transfer please email jennifer@thosecoffeepeople.com. Depending on each school’s unique situation we may be able to accept check as well.

What are your payment terms?

First time clients will need to pay in advance of the coffee being dispatched. Returning clients may request special payment terms from their sales representative.

Are your products produced in a facility that also processes nuts, soy, or wheat?

No, our coffee roastery does not process any other products besides coffee.
